Educational Philosophy

The philosophical foundation in curriculum design and development is based on the objective that what students learn through the curriculum designed by the study program can be used to help them understand the nature of human life, and the knowledge they acquire can be used to improve their quality of life, both individually and collectively in society (Zais, 1976, as cited in Kemendikbud, 2020).

The philosophical foundation for curriculum changes or development can be briefly understood as an effort to enable students to understand the nature of their lives and ensure that the knowledge they acquire will be useful in improving their quality of life in the future. This also supports the national development goal of achieving a just and prosperous society based on Pancasila.
